As Technical Director of the One Practice, Stephen reinforces the practice’s ethos and passion for imaginative and progressive design solutions on and off site and focuses on delivering creativity and quality with skill.
He heads up the technical and delivery expertise between the studios and ensures consistency in knowledge and service. Working closely with Alan Ross and Cesc Cantarell as Technical Directors in each studio, he consistently develops our shared expertise and resource to the benefit of each project.
Stephen has worked on large-scale award-winning schemes to more intimate, low-budget projects. He has worked across a variety of sectors to deliver commercial, residential, educational and cultural buildings. He has worked extensively on disused and heritage buildings and is skilled at understanding the complexities of retrofit.
He has recently led on the conversion of the Grade II Listed Crusader Works in Manchester, whilst also leading the large-scale new-build development Neighbourhood in Rochdale.
