modular homes approved at Wirral Waters

Wirral Council have granted planning consent for the first phase of our dockside regeneration scheme at East Float for Urban Splash and Peel Land & Property. shedkm are leading the development of 347 innovative modular homes, the first phase of which comprises 30 factory-built customisable houses, including the first use of our new Row House product, designed to compliment our existing Town House range.

15 three storey Town Houses are arranged along the water’s edge, with broad views across the working docks. These houses are the latest versions of our pioneering factory-built homes, already seen in Manchester, Birmingham and North Shields, but incorporating the latest improvements from our continuing research and development programme. Purchasers can choose from a wide range of different layouts, finishes and optional extras to customise their homes to suit their requirements, with the houses then being built to order in the House factory.

Three terraces of our new Row House product sit behind the Town Houses, facing on to an intimate shared garden and orchard, protected from the prevailing weather conditions. Row House uses similar modular technology to Town House, but in a smaller, simpler and more affordable format. Row House is available in three sizes – two storey, three storey and three storey with roof terrace – with 2, 3 or 4 bedroom layouts. Purchasers can choose any size of house on any plot, with the potential for varied streetscapes to be created.
