Aino is guardian of shedkm’s brand and has worked closely with external consultants to develop a bold and distinctive identity, implemented across all of the practice’s print and digital channels. She has worked on two iterations of the website, the most recent marking shedkm’s 25th anniversary.

Aino studied in Finland and worked as a project architect before joining shedkm in 2015, originally as Studio Manager. She now sits on the Strategic Board and oversees communications across the practice. She has also worked in a strategic capacity on several of shedkm’s masterplanning schemes, spatial regeneration frameworks and urban design projects.

She is particularly skilled in research that supports community understanding and informs strategic project decisions around identity and placemaking from the ground up.
