Sophie joined shedkm in 2025 as External Communications Lead, working closely with the brand team to tell shedkm’s story across press, website, social media, events, exhibitions, awards and professional networks. She combines a strategic, organised approach with strong storytelling skills to promote the practice’s profile regionally and nationally, both online and offline. She is particularly interested in communicating values-led architecture clearly and accessibly to broad audiences.
 
Sophie has a history in marketing and communications in the architectural industry, with a focus on modular, environmental, and community-led architecture. She studied BA Fashion Textiles at Middlesex University, where she specialised in sustainable design and communications approaches.
