Aino is guardian of shedkm’s brand and has worked closely with external consultants to develop a bold and distinctive identity and implement that across all the practice’s print and digital channels. She has worked on two iterations of the practice’s website, the most recent one marking its 25th anniversary.

Aino studied in Finland and worked as a project architect before joining shedkm in 2015, originally as Studio Manager. She has worked in a strategic capacity on several of shedkm’s masterplanning schemes, spatial regeneration framework proposals and urban design and community projects.

She is particularly skilled at research designed to understand existing communities and inform strategic project decisions around identity and a grass-roots approach to placemaking.
