Richard joined shedkm in March 2020 to assist the Greenwich Builds housing delivery team. Utilising his extensive Revit experience, he was able to transition smoothly into his role; focusing on the detailed design of the external envelopes. He is located in Liverpool but with close connections to the London studio and he contributes significantly with the one practice ethos to deliver projects nationally.
Richard has spent the past few years as project architect on Uptown with his lessons learnt in modular construction being transferred from the Greenwich Builds housing delivery team.
He has produced a comprehensive, detailed design package of fabrication drawings primarily focused on the delivery of offsite manufactured modular CLT apartments, in accordance with the extensive fire strategy required. His methodical approach has been key to project success with regular factory and site visits.
