Martyn joined shedkm in 2017, strengthening the technical team. Since then, he has worked on several complex retrofit projects, gaining significant experience in on-site detailing and resolving construction challenges. More recently, he led the first phase of the Stockport 8 development, which includes three High Risk Buildings (HRBs).

Martyn is passionate about technical design and is a BIM Champion within the practice. As an Associate, his focus is on ensuring technical delivery aligns with the intent and quality of early-stage concepts through to completion.

Martyn is also a champion of collaborative working and maintains strong client relationships throughout project delivery.

Outside of work, he has completed a self-build renovation of a 1920s house with extension, gaining valuable hands-on experience in domestic construction.
