This certification isn’t just a badge; it’s a testament to an organisation’s dedication to doing good for all its stakeholders.
In the built environment industry, which constitutes only 4.35% of the c8,000 B Corp companies, shedkm shines as a beacon of change. As architects, we understand the impact the profession has on the environment and aim to embrace regenerative design and the circular economy to deliver net positive benefits, through our practice and projects. We are continuing to strengthen our working practices to create buildings and places that have a more positive impact on the world around us.
This acknowledgment has steered us towards becoming 100% employee-owned, resulting in a the formation of sustainability, education and social value ateliers among the team. Our transition to an Employee-Owned Trust underpins our belief in collective ambition, fostering a culture where everyone is invested in the company’s success and its positive impact on society and the environment. We are also a Living Wage Employer, and actively participate in initiatives such as UK Architects Declare, the Diverse Leaders Pledge, as well as supporting educational and diversity programs through a variety of activities.
